My sister's baby shower was today :)

After the shower I went by the mall to pick up my engagement ring(i had to have it fixed because i have almost broken part of it off several times). Well I had to take back something so that I would have enough money, but the stupid bitch at the store wouldnt give me cash back, instead she put everything back on the card and so i wasnt going to be able to pay for my rings because it takes "3 to 4 business days" to go back on there.

So i had to call my mamaw and have her bring me the other half of the payment. So while i was waiting on my mamaw and the other people to get there (we were going to eat) Rachel (my cousin) wanted me to go ahead and run her home because her mom was wanting to bring her son back home because her mom and dad had something to go to. So by the time i took her home and got back to the mall, they were already there waitin on me. Me and mamaw went up to the jewlers and paid for the ring and then we left.

We went to Olive Garden to eat.....THEY HAVE THE BEST COFFEE ON THE FACE OF THIS EARTH!!!...I am soo not a coffee drinker. If i do drink any coffee its usually a frozen mocha frap from starbucks. But i HATE hot coffee!!...Jessica (my cousin who came in from Pigeon Forge for the baby shower) on the other hand LOVES coffee. So i ordered my diet coke { :) } and was just eatin a 1 bread stick when jess got her coffee. She was like " oh my gosh!!..this is good coffee! " so i asked her if i could try hers.

OH MY GOD!!!! i dont even know how to explain the taste of this!!...you have to use milk and sugar tho..lol...unless you're like my mamaw and all you drink is black lol.....
Regardless if you're a coffee drinker or not, you SERIOUSLY need to go to Olive Garden and at least try one cup!!!!

So yesterday, since my hubby was off, we decided to go over to my parents house and visit my sister. Well , Brittany had come over as well and then josh shows up (not my hubby or brother lol...this is my brother-in-laws brother..i guess that would make him my brother-in-law as well..idk..lol).

So we are all sitting outside on my parents porch smoking(well execpt for lisa..since shes prego and all) and talking about what we want to do today. When Lisa starts talking about how she found this random number on her cell bill and called and it was some girls phone. A little while later she had gotten a text from this chick asking who she was. Well Lisa, being the person she is, tells the chick that her name is Adam (her hubby). The girl (Annie) tells lisa she doesnt know anyone named adam. Well they get to talking a bit more and the girl tells her that her boyfriend Ray had used some guys phone (Adams) to call her. (They are in the service and are in training right now). So lisa finally tells her that its really her and not adam. And leaves it at that.

Annie ends up texting Lisa all freaking day!!...Asking her if she needs to send her money for the phone bill and all this bull...well then she finds out lisa is pregnant...so she is like "you need to let me know when your baby is going to be born so i can send you a card and a gift!!"...remember..Lisa doesnt even know this chick!...Then she starts talking about how she is thankful to Adam for serving and that she is thankful to Lisa for being "such a strong service wife"...her words exactly....

Maybe that doesnt seem weird to anyone else, but this girl is a senior in high school, her boyfriend is like 18....i dunno..lol..we just found it really weird....

Well anyhoo..back to our day..lol...we decided that we wanted to go to the mall and eat because everyone wanted something different and the mall has a food court. We sat and talked and ate and talked for like 2 hours..then to spencers we went :)-fyi..i love that store. We were in there for awhile then we took brittany home and went back to my parents house to let josh get his car so that him and my hubby could go to the gamestop and stuff to find a game while me and lisa did our own thing. We ended up going to a couple of places and then went to meet my hubby and josh so i could get some money for gas.

While we were sitting at walmart waiting on them to get there we decided that we wanted to go over to josh's house so that we could fish. So we talked to josh and made sure that it would be okay if we went down there. I got money and stopped for gas on the way and when we got to his house, there was this girl (whose name i cant remember) there who was probably about 12. She was REALLY annoying and pretty much just straight up PHYCHOTIC. We were sitting there fishing and she was just talking, then she reaches up and pulls out a CHUNK of hair and acts like its nothin. Well finally her parents made her go inside and leave us alone.

We talked for a while and decided that we wanted to go to eat and get a couple of drinks and just hang out. Lisa was going to be our d.d. so we wouldnt have to drive. We went to Applebees and got some food and josh, josh (my hubby), and me all got liquid marijuanas (which are THE SHIT if you've never had one!!). Well then we all got tired of sitting at applebees because there was this kid that kept throwing crayons at lisas head (haha), so we went to a place called breaking traditions which is a pool hall/bar. We got some more drinks and played some pool then matt got there.

Something about matt, me and him had a little falling out a couple of months ago. So we still werent on "speaking" terms. Well we were there about an hour before matt got there so we stayed for about another hour after he got there. Then josh wanted to go home so me and lisa took him home and then just went back to the bar to get josh. Well matt asked if he could talk to me so i was like..."umm..i guess.." he said that he was truly and sincerely sorry for what he had done to me and that he knows that it will be hard for me to forgive him. If you knew matt you would know that he NEVER apologizes for ANYTHING...so for him to do that with me meant a lot.

Two years from then
Like I said in my other post, Im new to all this. But I have heard that writing things down and letting everything out really helps....so here I go.
Two years ago...wow that seems like such a long time ago....so much has happened in that short time.

I have always been the type of person who trusts VERY easily. I am the type of person that if you need help, no matter who you are, if you are my "enemy", I will do everything that I possibly can to help you. But that backfired on me in June of 09. I met this guy named Andy. He seemed like such a good guy ...then I found out the truth.

We went out a couple of times, and hooked up. Then one night we were talking and he was telling me about how he was on his way home from a "work" trip from Colorado. He was falling asleep on the phone (while driving), so I offered to let him come over to my house, well my parents house, and stay. He got there a few hours later. My parents were out of town on a camping trip, I couldnt go because of work. Stupid me let him talk me into running up the street to get food while he "took a shower". When I got back to the house, I should have known something was off because I had been gone like 15 mins and he still hadn't gotten in the shower. When I walked into the bathroom, he was just starting to shave. Well, that night he threw clothes in the washer and then dried them, then we went to bed. The next morning we got up and I went to work and he followed me out. Well, nothing happened for a few days ( I didnt hear from him either), then on Sunday morning a lady from Kmart called the houseat like 6am. My parents had gotten home late the night before. The next thing i know my dad is screaming for me to come to the living room. I lied and told them that the only people tht had come over to the house while they were gone were my best friend Bekah and her boyfriend. I did have Bekah over but the guy was an ex of mine that had come over and I thought from the description the lady gave us that it was him. My dad, me and my sister Lisa all went to Kmart that morning and watched the video. When we saw that it was Andy I pretty much fainted. I had to tell my parents everything and when we got back to the house we started looking through everything and found out that we had 3 credit cards stolen, a checkbook with 25 checks in it, and over $1000 worth of jewlery. He had also taken some of my pain killers that I had for my knee. My parents called the police and I had to give the description and tell them where he lived, i didnt know the address so i gave them the directions. About a week later they called me and told me that they couldnt go to the house without the address and they wanted me to drive over there and get the address. I didnt want to because I knew that he knew my car, so my parents took their car over there with my sister since she knew where he lived. They arrested him and he is in jail now, but he is probably going to get out soon. My mom still brings all of that up every time i see her. It really hurts me because I was just trying to help him, I didnt know that everything he had told me was a complete effin lie.

About 2 weeks after that, I met Chris. I fell for him HARD and he ended up breaking up with me for his ex wife.

Then on July 23, 2008, I met Joshua Arnold. I knew from the minute I saw him that I would end up marrying him. He ended up asking me out on a date on the 27th. From that day on we were pretty much inseperable. He asked me to marry on October 20th. We set the date for Valentines Day and started the rest of the planning. I found my dress and picked the church, got the preacher and sent out invitations. Then about 3 days before the wedding, we found out that our preacher was going to have to have emergency surgery on that day so we had to find another preacher. We ended up getting the pastor that married his parents. We have a great marriage, but there are so many times when i want to just walk away and never turn back. He is a great husband, but he has a bad drinking problem. He will go and buy alcohol and wait till i fall asleep at night and get drunk and then the next day he is so hungover he cant do anything. There have been times where he will still be drunk when he gets up for work and I will have to take him because he cant drive.

Now my sister (well best friend really...we basically adopted her when we were in 8th grade) is pregnant and my mom is soo excited about having her first "grandchild". But if I say anything about having a baby she gets so mad and tells me, basically, that i am NOT having a baby. I don't understand why she acts like this. I am her daughter!!! MY child will be her grandchild. She has ALWAYS treated Lisa better, she would take her shopping and just leave me at home then when I asked to go along she would make up something for me to do. She has always told me that Im fat and that I would never find anyone who was going to love me...that she was going to have to take care of me for the rest of her life, and ask me why i couldnt be more like lisa. When Josh came into my life, she acted like he wasnt apart of my life, until the day we got married.

My Life.....
Hey all!!
*I have never really done a blog before, so please just bare with me as I get used to this :).
*I have a wonderful life with an amazing husband. His name is Josh.
*Im Ashleigh by the way :).
*My mom and dad split up when I was 2, and my mom married Phil, who adopted my brother Joshua (19) and me(21).
*Phil is my dad...and I wouldnt have that any other way :).
*My father's name is Eddie. After he and my mom split, he married a woman named Angie and they had Stephanie who is 15 now, I think. (Her mom doesn't let her see any of us. She doesn't even know she has brothers and a sister). After the split up, he married, and is still married to, Carol. They had Spencer (9) and Levi "Stormy" (3).
In 6th grade i met a girl named Lisa who became my best friend.
*The summer before our 8th grade year she moved back to Texas with her mom and brother.
*Then in the middle of our 8th grade year, she ended up moving in with my family and we got custody of her.
*She was married for about a year and then divorced (he was an ass)...and just recently got remarried to Adam.
*I am going to be an aunt soon :)
*Lisa is having her first child. His name is going to be Jackson Eli.
*I just recently quit my job and so now josh is the only one working and it is really stressful on our marriage sometimes. But we are learning on how to deal with that stress.
*I just recently turned 21.
*I got to spend my birthday in Florida with my cousin (who is one of my best friends).
*She just moved back to Tennessee about a month ago and we have hung out so much.
*I am going back to college to become a special education teacher.
*My senior year of high school I started working in the special education class and I fell in love with those students.
*I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher, from the time I was like 5 and I would line all my dolls and stuffed animals up and "teach" them.
*My parents are very supportive of my decision, which is very important to me.
Im not really sure what else to write about..lol..so bye for now!
